Overview

XenBase is a transparent extender base designed for plastisol ink. Xenbase is a perfect Plastisol base to make glitter ink. It imparts greater flexibility and softness to the ink. Typically, this extender base finds application in creating economical or metallic-like plastisol inks. XenBase shares a similar viscosity with most plastisol inks, so its addition does not reduce ink viscosity or thin it out. Our XenBase extender base possesses a creamy texture, enhancing the overall creaminess of the ink. Additionally, XenBase can introduce a glossy finish to the ink. It is especially recommended for use on cotton and 50/50 fabric. Product Information: Color: Clear Type: Plastisol base Solids: 100% Viscosity: 350,000/450,000 CPS Application: Printers often incorporate an extender base to extend plastisol ink, either for cost-saving purposes or to achieve darker colors. One challenge when using an extender base is the potential loss of ink opacity. To maintain optimal results, it is advisable not to exceed adding more than 15 to 20% of any extender into the ink. XenBase can also introduce metallic pigments and glitter into the ink itself. Xenon also offers pigment dispersion products. After adding XenBase, cure the ink at a standard temperature of approximately 350°F. Caution: Avoid inhaling fumes, as this product contains PVC. Ensure proper ventilation during use. Use a mask, gloves, and appropriate clothing. Do not exceed a 20% extender base ratio, which may compromise opacity and coverage. Refrain from using any extender base for high-opacity ink, mainly when working with dark-colored shirts.
