Recommendations for Maintaining Aluminum Frames

These are imported frames- They have tape put in on both sides for the convenience of the printers. Like all tapes, if the frame after printing is put in a dip tank to remove ink and emulsion, the tape may detach from the screen. So after cleaning, a new tape may be required. Do not take out the tape before printing. To remove the adhesive left behind on the screen after washing, an adhesive cleaner like Xenzu PAC should be used to wipe out the adhesive film. Do not take out the tape before printing, it may damage the screen adhesive.

The solvents mixture based on NMP or Acetone should be avoided as these two solvents attack the adhesive line between the mesh and the frame.
